3.3 'Casual Diner'

Hello Ruby's Diner. Aren't you cute? I believe you're named after your owners 4 year old daughter. Even more cute. And you're raved about on Time Out. So you must be good. You're kitted out with diner style tables, in an open indoor / outdoor space, with graffitied walls, playing funky music whilst your wait staff whip up coffees and churn out breakfasts. You also attract famous people. I sat next to Kitty Flanagan today - she wasn't very funny. Thankfully your menu provided more than enough entertainment for me. I chose the honey ricotta french toast with rhubarb and strawberries - YUM. The honey ricotta was oozing out from inside the french toast. Amazing. I also got a coffee. It was the most ginormous coffee I have ever seen. A fish bowl sized mug of Single Origin goodness. Your only one downfall - your knife.

Coffee: 3.5 Gigantor coffee. Big (+1 point) but bitter (-1 point).
Eggs: ? Couldn't taste. But they looked good on other people's plates.
Toast: 4 Sonoma breads. Yes please.
Knife: 2
Ambience: 4 Funky tunes, open, airy, sunny, friendly.
Price: 3
Think it was $11 for eggs on toast.
